DALLAS COWBOY: MADDEN ’11 RANKINGS (OH LET’S DO IT!)

This past monday night like many eager football fans i stood in line to purchase the new NCAA ’11 full of excitement as i rushed home and jumped on xbox live and got to work with my FLORIDA STATE SEMINOLES! (the jimbo fisher era has begun) as the night progressed the excitement wore off as online players where running around with fast qb’s like a chicken with it’s head cut off! trying to jump every snap? getting tackled for a loss but pitching the ball as their knee hit the ground and running for td’s! the yawn started to come in! and i’ve finally decided the tradition of buying NCAA football games STOPS HERE! dont get me wrong the game is AMAZING! (not a mason! lol) but due to ea sports lack of planning(they should really consider coming out with ncaa in may and have the summer on lock #shrug) NCAA football has become nothing but a “FLUFFER” for MADDEN! As you will only get in a 2 solid good weeks before it sits on the shelf collecting dust as you already have your draft classes loaded and your “Road To Glory” player is now ready for the draft! because “BRAGGIN RIGHTS” in NCAA doesn’t matter! because real game players know the season doesn’t start til AUGUST! AUGUST 10TH TO BE EXACT! so with all that said let’s get a jump start shall we?

THE TALE OF COWARDLY KING

Well like the rest of the sports world i found myself caught up in the nba free agency saga (thank goodness for it cause without it i would of slit my wrist due to the world cup and baseball season! snooze) this summer was “supposed” to be the chance for the nba to finally get what it has been lacking ever since the jordan era and that was “balance” the less fortunate teams would finally get their shot of a change! well so i thought? as the days passed you had amare sign with the knicks? booz to chicago? dirk came back to dallas (yes!) so the first wave a free agency went good as team spent tons of dollars on talent and some teams over spent atlanta giving joe johnson the max? fail! but still the 3 leaders of this whole frenzy lebron.wade.bosh still remained on the market. Until a press conference was announced and wade and bosh decided that they will be playing in miami! cool pick up? wade will be nice with a legit big man! so that left lebron as the lone standing free agent! so i figured hmm? he might stay in cleveland i mean turning your back on your hometown would be something no athlete of that caliber has ever faced? but if he left it would be understandable! no man will ever fill mj’s shoes impossible so chicago is out of the picture! which left new york which made perfect sense! kobe-gasol? wade-bosh? lebron-amare? it’s gonna be a interesting season! WRONG!

As lebron hosted his own espn hr long “decision” segment (which i had no problem with because the money went to charity) lebron did the most unexpected, most cowardly, most bitchassness act in sports history! by announcing that he will be playing the prime of his career in miami? with bosh and wade? WOW! i was shocked damn near offended? not the “king” not the face of the league taking the coward way out! nah couldnt be? but in fact it was true! they got together on some butt buddie shit over martini’s and decided to form a “super trio” huge let down? understand i hear what most cowardly people are saying by “lebron just wants to win” yeah yeah yeah i hear that lame shit! but understand “it’s not about who’s standing on top it’s about how many stairs you climbed to get there” as an athlete and a MAN the competitive spirit is supposed to be what fuel’s us the will to compete! but instead lebron took the easy road!

The thing that made lebron special was the question of  “could he be the greatest ever” but that thought is now tarnished forever! if bron’ wins 7 rings and kevin durant wins 1 in okc” durant is easily ranked on another level than lebron same for melo. etc! lebron threw away the opportunity to be mentioned in the same breath as jordan.bird.magic.isiah.BRYANT he is now considered 2nd tier if that? and the cowards say kobe had shaq? mj had pippen? bird had mchale? magic had kareem? yeah? and cleveland had the best record in the nba for the past 2 yrs? it was the “kings” fault they fell short as he turned his back on his team in the clutch and sat on the bench chewing his nails as “the truth” ended their season! lebron had plenty of weapons surrounding him to win a championship? look what iverson did in philly? or jason kidd did with the nets TWICE! you mean to tell me the “king” couldnt get it done with the team he had? NIGGA PLEASE! but it is what it is? GREATNESS isn’t for everybody that’s why only a slim few can achieve it? so as miami now has become the evil villain in the nba and kobe has now become the last hope (on some the last airbender shit) to save us from this cowardly plague that’s infecting pro basketball! all i can say is lebron james doesnt deserve the honor to ever “witness” what it’s like to be called a TRUE CHAMPION! put em’ up put em’ up!

THE LIFE OF A “C” STUDENT LISTENING PARTY:WRAP UP

Sorry for the delay due to the fact i left my computer in wichita after the show my blogging has been limited! smh!but the “The Life Of A “C” Student” listening party went over well, thank you to everybody who came out and supported i got the chance to see  a lot of people who i haven’t seen in years and also the chance to meet a lot of artist who i only get to speak to on an internet basis. I definitely  felt the energy of the crowd and the interaction was incredible. And the opportunity to perform in my hometown of WICHITA,KANSAS outdoors in the middle of downtown was JUST NUTZ!! it was the perfect night everything went great (i was in panic mode the night before i cant even lie! lol) After my 2 year hiatus it felt good to be back on stage and performing, i didn’t know how much i missed it until i got up there, i believe this show was the splash of cold water to the face that i needed to get re focused it was a special night and i believe alot of people enjoyed the new music from the project which is definit positive and takes alot of pressure off! i would like to thank Na Na for taking the chance and booking me, along with rockisland live. i want to thank everyone who came out and supported. and i want to thank my cousin rudy love jr for coming on stage and performing with me that made the night bro. and to those that missed it don’t fret my friend i will be in a town near you asap!
